Built in 1567 as a coaching inn, The Turks was one of the first licensed premises in England. Today it's still a traditional English pub, real ale and a friendly atmosphere, now nestling alongside the London Road bus lane and is much larger inside than you might expect. There is a decent selection of no/lo-alcohol options.
