Named after Butler’s Wine Merchants, who operated from these premises many years ago, this is very much a ‘local’ in the heart of town. Taken over by a local consortium after a long period of Fuller's stewardship, there has been an ongoing process of upgrading both inside and out. Ales sourced from regionals and local breweries, with often some unusual choices for Reading. Live music is a weekly feature and draws large crowds - keep up to date with the gig list by visiting their active social media platforms.
