The hotel was originally called The Elephant when it first opened in the late nineteenth century, but its name was changed to The Copper Inn in 1967. It was taken over and refurbished in 2007 - once more under its original name. Full hotel/restaurant facilities, but you're most welcome just to drop in for a pint or two. Local beer and food suppliers preferred. Annual Beer Stampede Festival (August/September).
